Tools and Writing Enhancement Tips
Here are the tools:
1. Spellcheck:
– You may either use an anti-virus “Spell Check” feature or increase the dictionary appropriately based on the file you are working on to filter out false alarms of “misspelling”
2. Tone Check:
– www.writesavi.com is free to use. You can increase your score filter out false alarms and “fragile” (loose) words.
3. Similarity:
– Writing Minipulator has a simple plagiarism feature for which you can probably drag-and-drop the finished post on the Tools page. If the post is out on the net, hopefully it will show a Different tone test score besides (0% (greater than 4% may turn fraudsters away).
– Epsilonlabs pullout on google doc comments works well, and it doesn’t process errors in google docs formatting.
4. Production:
– Any grammar or spellchecker that shows you where your error is via your text editor or word processor. Papyrs is such an extension.
– Again, same thing can be accomplished by Writeabiliy (in heavier code or html editors)
Bonus:
– To control spam and reporting, you may use www.addtoany.com to keep a copy of your text on a google search hit.
You can use www.tabfind.com to transfer your corrections to tab search, using the search bar or your keyboard (CTRL+TAB or CTRL+SHIFT+TAB)
The Additional Tools folder provides the columns and rows, colour palettes, tag list/tags, custom fonts, GTD categories, colour codes, and then some. These are very important for easy access to the contacts and data in the system!
